Anima Liquors - Label Illustrations & Design

 

THE OPPORTUNITY

Anima is a brand established in the north of Portugal, which produces artisanal liquor, obtained by macerating fruit, spices and aromatic herbs in brandy, without resorting to sophisticated means or industrial techniques. They wanted to market the brand with a vintage, rustic and detail-oriented spirit.

THE SOLUTION

I wanted to highlight how this project could be more than just a few illustrations on a label. By first creating a unique logotype with some modular and easy variations, I would ensure some versatility, flexibility, and unlimited applications in the brand for different situations, such as stamps, letters, or as a social media icon. The main goal of having a vintage, rustic and detailed look was pleasingly accomplished, by utilizing hand-engraved illustrations to represent each flavor.
