"Archive" Crest Illustration & Monogram Design

 

THE OPPORTUNITY

BS LLC, a branding, strategy, and marketing agency, engaged in the development of a branding kit for an upcoming restaurant in Cincinnati - "Archive". They approached me to contribute by creating a custom monogram and crest illustration in an engraving style, serving as the central elements of the branding kit. The intent was to incorporate and symbolize elements specific to the Cincinnati area, including grapes, various meat options, and the typical vegetables offered by the restaurant.

THE SOLUTION

The project began with an in-depth exploration of monogram concepts for the letter "A", which would serve as the primary focal point of the crest. Subsequently, the focus shifted to crafting the emblem and integrating evolving elements to achieve the desired outcome.
