GLUG - Lisbon Wine Magazine Illustration

THE OPPORTUNITY

Beer52 commissioned me to create an illustration featuring DOC Colares, a wine region located in Sintra, Portugal, for inclusion in the UK's premier new wine magazine, GLUG. The brief called for the depiction of the Sintra palace, the Ramisco grape variety, and the vineyard fields.

THE SOLUTION

To meet the requirements of the brief, I collaborated with Emlyn and decided to utilize a circular shape as the focal point of the illustration, surrounded by a frame of grapes and leaves. Within the circular frame, the vineyard fields leading up to the palace in the background were incorporated.
